He is trying to get through it with Lord Montague, who had already lost his wife. They built a new monument together, to bury all their dead relatives. This one even bigger, The Montague and Capulet Monument, the monument represented and proved to everyone that Montagues and Capulets and enemies no more. " O brother Montague, give me thy hand. This is my daughter's jointure, for no more Can I demand" (302) On the day of Romeo and Juliet's death the whole town gathers around the monument and places flowers around it. It has know become a tradition. So the book may have come to an end, but the story continues.
